Partnering with the homeowner and local architecture firm, we worked together to account for the steep 70-ft grade change. The solution included a comprehensive drainage plan, utilization of strategic step locations, foundation wall heights, integrating retaining walls and tiered terraces to make the site not only buildable but visually stunning. Exterior elements such as the pool construction and walkway to the dock had to be designed and accounted for from initial planning stages. Coordination of these vendors and designers had required a cohesive team approach to problem solving and homeowner input to the functionality of those elements. It was imperative to make sure the family and their guests could utilize each of the spaces comfortably.
